Our returning Athlete of the Week is soccer’s Shelby Hall. The first year also won the NEWMAC defensive player of the week after playing in goal for all 220 minutes for the Pioneers in their two matches. In the game against Wellesley on Oct. 25, Hall made 12 saves, en route to her fifth shutout of the season. On Oct. 28, Hall made three saves, propelling the Pioneers to a 2-0 victory over Mount Holyoke. Hall’s goals against average is now .59. So far this season, the rookie has been named Smith’s athlete of the week twice, NEWMAC defensive player of the week three times, and ECAC defensive player of the week twice.
We sat down with Shelby and asked her a few questions:
What is your favorite food?
The huge baked potatoes I get once a year at the Big E, or anything buffalo chicken-related.

“House.”
