Athlete of the Week: Brittney Blokker ’17

Brittney Blokker, a first year on Smith’s softball team, was named the Athlete of the Week on March 24^th. She currently leads the team with 16 runs so far this season, 2 of them coming from the Pioneer’s win on April 5^th against Wellesley College. On Wednesday, April 2^nd, the Pioneers beat NEWMAC opponent Clark and Blokker had 2 hits with 4 at bats.The first year is from Seattle, Washington and was a team captain and four-year starter at Ballard High School.
