This week, track and field team member Maya Rittmanic ’14 is honored as this athlete of the week. The senior won two individual events and contributed to two relay teams this past Saturday, April 19, at the Pioneer Invitational, hosted by Smith. Rittmanic won the high jump at 1.54m as well as the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.14. She was part of the 4×100-meter relay team, which finished first with a time of 50.08, as well as a part of the 4×400-meter relay team, which finished second with a time of 4:13.29. With Rittmanic’s high jump and hurdle victories, she has qualified for the New England Division III Championship. Additionally, her 4×100 team has also now qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship.
